Description
This Wheel thrown Dinner Set is exquisitely crafted to the highest standards. Each piece is hand-thrown on a wheel, creating bespoke tableware that are the perfect addition to any table. Enjoy meals with a unique, exclusive touch.
Being handmade, each piece is truly unique which means no two will be exactly the same. For me this is what makes them so special. When I create a 'set' of items you can see they all come from the same family though each piece will have it's own beautiful unique personality.
Each dinner set includes dinner plates, side plates and bowls.
Colours and finish will vary so the images shown here are a guide only.

Care
While each piece is made to be used everyday they do prefer to be treated with care.
All are dishwasher and microwave safe though handwashing will prolong the life of your flung Ceramics investment.
Metal utensils, abrasive chemicals and cleaners and foods that have the potential to stain can damage the surface.
Taking your piece from a very hot environment to a very cold one can cause thermal shock. So take care!
All glazes are food safe and non-toxic.

How to order your dinner set
Step 1: Send Michelle the details
After looking at the dinner set options online and determining the following, email Michelle:
- Style of dinner set you would like, there are two options: wheel thrown or hand-built
- Quantity of your set (ie. set of 4 or set of 10)
- Components of your set (ie. Dinner Plate, Entree Plate, Bowl, Bread/Dessert Plate etc)
- Clay type: there are four options
- Glaze: there are a variety of options, the most popular choices are shown above, but if you'd like something else, let Michelle know!
If you have any questions, simply fling Michelle a message and ask!
Step 2: Confirm the details
Michelle will email you back with questions and clarifications for you where she will confirm the design, style, size, clay and glaze options as well as approximate time it will take to create your dinner set
Step 3: Pay the depost
A 50% deposit on all commissioned pieces is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due on completion and prior to delivery.
Step 4: Michelle gets to work
Michelle gets to work on creating your very own personalised dinner set that will be the envy of all your dinner guests!
Michelle will keep you updated throughout the making process so you have an idea on how your pieces are coming along.
Step 5: Ready for you
Michelle will contact you once your entire dinner set is finished and it's ready to be shipped or collected from the studio.
Good to know
Caring for your pieces
All pieces are food-safe as well as oven and dishwasher safe. However we do recommend hand washing wares in warm soapy water to ensure longevity. Extreme and sudden changes in temperature should be avoided, and as with all ceramics – breakages can occur if dropped or knocked together.
Do you have more glaze colours available?
Absolutely! These are the most popular colours, but fling us a note about what you'd like and we will make sure you get the colours of your dreams.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
My order is a gift. Do you provide wrapping?
Absolutely! Leave a note with your order or fling us an email and we can organise for you for a small additional charge.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
